In Christ Jesus, we are now the righteousness of God. However we became so through a process. The process was that Christ was made a sin offering and as He died, we died with Him. Now with the old man dead and buried, and having been raised with Christ, we became a new creation, and God's righteous ones.

Reference: 2 Corinthians 5:21 New King James Version (NKJV) "For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him."

Jesus was perfect, yet God made Him to be sin for us because He had us in mind. It didn't take God a lot of trial and error to make Christ sin for us, which is something that both looks good because of the purpose God had in mind and bad, because Christ was exceptionally sinless and perfect. Yet this was God's artistry in operation. His creativity and wisdom are beyond human reasoning and understanding. God is a purpose-led God who can devise excellent results even from seemingly evil perspective, which denotes His sovereign and all expressive power.

As human being, no one can figure out how it really happened and the intelligence behind condemning Christ. I mean God declaring us His righteousness at the expense of making Christ look sinful and evil so that atonement might work. But this is an undeniable manifestation of the creative Genius in heaven (The Almighty God). It is the intelligence of the Spirit of God. God's righteousness is a product of His HOLY Spirit; it is the work of the mind of God and so, its beyond human intelligence, intellect and imagination.

God is so powerful and unlimited that He can use anything or anyone to make you what He wants you to be, in line with His will. Remember He made the seen through the unseen. This is why you cannot always figure it out while walking with God. However, note this: God was able to make Christ a sin offering and move Him to the highest place of honour and glory because He submitted to His will. The sooner and quicker we realise that submission to His will is the key to His making, the better for us. As long as we follow the leading of God's Spirit, we'll be led and made in the proper way, according to His plan and purpose for our lives.

Beloved, since the means through which God made us His righteousness is contrary to the human view, it means that His wisdom and richness of perception in artistry and His power to make or convert evil to good cannot be denied. This is why we must submit to Him in everything and allow Him to make us. Jesus was fully God, yet He submitted His will as a man, and God made Him. Imagine that Paul says, "I also pray that you will understand the incredible greatness of God's power for us who believe him. This is the same mighty power that raised Christ from the dead and seated him in the place of honor at God's right hand in the heavenly realms"(Ephesians 1:19-20 NLT).

In both verses, Christ did not have any hand in His resurrection and final making of His glory. God accomplished every process by the incredible greatness of His power. Read Ephesians 1:19-20. The golden news is that Paul affirmed that this same power that raised Christ and seated Him in the place of honour is designed to work for us, the saints who believe Him. All we need is to submit like Christ did. As we form the habit of submitting to God and delight ourselves in Him, we will always experience the power of His making.

If you require sufficiency in everything, allow God to make it happen. All you need to do is to submit to the authority of His Word, and all that God needs to do is to "make" all grace abound to you. He has the power to make bountiful grace abound in your life and you'll have access to sufficiency which makes life and tasks simple. Therefore, stay submissive to God in everything because His Word can never fail. 2 Corinthians 9:8 reads, "And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that always having all sufficiency in everything, you may have an abundance for every good deed." His 'ability to make' is His own spiritual and artistic skills. And the power of God to make us according to His perfect will and purpose is the secret of good and lasting success. Shalom!
