Grace is the signature of our qualification in Christ and the glory our perfection. This qualification is based on the incorruptible seed that remains in the saints which can never be lost. It is the foundational principle of our Christian faith. The root of our qualification is hidden in Christ and that itself is sustained by God, and can never be decided by men or worldly opinions. This is why 2 Corinthians 3:5 says, "It is not that we think we are qualified to do anything on our own. Our qualification comes from God" (NLT).

Reference: Colossians 1:12-13 Amplified Bible (AMP) "Giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints (God's people) in the Light. For He has rescued us and has drawn us to Himself from the dominion of darkness, and has transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son."

This topic is actually a question which has to do with recognising and acknowledging how God qualified us. Firstly, He rescued us from the dominion of darkness. Secondly, He drew us to Himself and transferred us to the Kingdom of His beloved Son. So our qualification is ascribed to our heavenly Father, who has called by His grace, revealed His Son in us, and drew our souls to Himself. Paul explained this in Acts 26:18 which reads that God opens the [spiritual] eyes so that people may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness and release from their sins and an inheritance among those who have been sanctified [set apart, made holy] by faith in Christ (AMP).

So the main focus in today's article is about how God qualified us by rescuing us from the domain of darkness. There is a great deal of darkness, bondage and shackles of sin and unbelief in the domain of darkness, which is headed by Satan. But God rescued us from his hands by an act of saving grace and in doing so, He saved us from eternal damnation, thereby delivering, releasing, freeing and liberating us completely. He did it through our Lord Jesus Christ. The Bible says, "Having cancelled the charge of our legal indebtedness, which stood against us and condemned us; he has taken it away, nailing it to the cross. And having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross" (Colossians 2:14-15 NIV). Having defeated the devil, Jesus delivered us from his domain and then began the work of grace in our spirit.

This qualification is God that designed it and it was predestined, deliberate or intentional. It was never by chance or haphazard. This is clearly stated in the Scripture, "And these whom He predestined, He also called; and these whom He called, He also justified; and these whom He justified, He also glorified" (Romans 8:30 NKJV). Stay tuned for part 3. Shalom!
