The matter of oblation is far too serious, and so I speak in terms of avoiding and escaping the consequences of indulging in offering sacrifices to demons, as born again Christians, to whom Christ and His finished work on earth mean everything. This is because, in our referenced verse below, Paul admonished the saints against it, saying, "I do not want you to be participants with demons."

Reference: 1 Corinthians 10:20 New International Version (NIV) "No, but the sacrifices of pagans are offered to demons, not to God, and I do not want you to be participants with demons."

Who do you present your sacrifices and offerings to? To whom do you dedicate your vows, your business, your endeavours, your talents and your gifts? If you are born of the Spirit, your sacrifices and gifts are sacred and should be offered to Almighty God alone, meaning that it goes direct to the throne room, rising before God as a fragrant aroma and with a solemnity that imparts divine grace. Beloved, the destination of your sacrifices is consecrated. It is received through Christ and in His name at God's right hand - the place of highest honour in heaven.

In Acts 2:33, Peter said, "Exalted to the right hand of God, He has received from the Father the promised Holy Spirit and has poured out what you now see and hear" (NIV). Beloved, our Lord Jesus Christ is exalted to the place of highest honour in heaven, at God's right hand. And God the Father, as He promised, gave Him the Holy Spirit to pour out on us, and hence, today, every born again Christian who has the Holy Spirit, knows and understands His impact in their lives, in relation to oblation.

The oblation of the righteous manifests light because Christ is their way, and their true light. It is accompanied by sanctifying Spirit, leading to abundant life. The way of the wicked is darkness because they are engaged in hostility against God. Regarding Christ as Lord means nothing to them, and for this reason, as pagans, their sacrifices which are offered to demons are dark, earthly, unspiritual and demonic, and the effects of such practice are infernal in nature.

No matter the ceremonial precepts they observe, their sacrifices cannot please God because they wield bad and ungodly influences, under the names of "principalities and powers," "the rulers of the darkness of this world," and "spiritual wickedness in high places", headed by Satan, the god of this world. So their demonic sacrifices obey Satan's will, execute his plans and further his evil purposes, because the pagans are his obedient subjects. Got it?

For those in Christ Jesus, they have the Spirit of Christ, and by their union with Christ through faith, the principle of their walk with God is in accordance with divine nature and grace. So the sacrifices they offer to God are aimed at yielding all-round productiveness and they bear good fruit of divine light, thereby manifesting the clarity of who they are or the dominion of their identity in Christ.

By "fruit of the light", I mean that it produces every form of goodness, abundant blessings, and results of righteousness and truth in their lives. God Himself is obligated to supply their needs and deliver their provision, according to His riches in glory and by the influence of the Holy Spirit, which they are governed. Stay tuned for part 3. Shalom!

Scripture Reading - Leviticus 22:18; Isaiah 19:21; Malachi 3:10-12; Matthew 23:23.

Exuberant Declaration: I acknowledge that Christ grants me infinite power to accumulate divine grace and receive untold blessings from the storehouse of heaven, which can never be exhausted. Therefore, each time I render my sacred oblation, I do so with joy, and the rewarding results come as a great harvest from God, and they are evidently stamped on every aspect of my life, according to His riches in glory, as well as His purpose and ideal concerning it. Praise God!
