Christ Jesus is our precious hope on earth. We reign in Christ, while in this world and we are going to reign with Him forever because His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom. That means, in Christ, we explode and overflow with hope, faith, and joy, and confidence, because we are already experiencing now, our reign with Him.

Reference: 1 Timothy 1:1 New International Version (NIV)'Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the command of God our Savior and of Christ Jesus our hope.'

The hope of every Christian in the world is Christ Jesus. He died on the cross of Calvary for the sins of mankind. That means, this hope is available to everyone alive. However if you don't have Christ in you, you are hopeless beyond this life. There is no hope for anyone who doesn't have Christ, once they die. This also means that no Christian should live a hopeless life because Christ is your hope. The good news is that as long as you're still alive on earth, Christ is your hope. If you are yet to accept Him as your Saviour and Lord, the time is now!

Colossians 1:27 (NIV) reads, 'To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.' Beloved, Christ is in you, not behind you. That means you already have the hope of glory in you. Everything happening from our inside to the outer world leads us to glory and that's the hope we have in Christ.

Our glory transcends the realm of time. For instance, 1 Corinthians 15:19 (NIV) says, 'If only for this life we have hope in Christ, we are of all people most to be pitied.' This mind-blowing truth didn't stop here. In fact, the next verse revealed that Christ has been raised from the dead. That's means our hope radiates unending energy; thus, no true Christian can be disadvantaged. All things, both nature and circumstances, work for our good and align themselves for our glory. Therefore we don't look at what is happening in the world to determine our glorious future. We look unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God (Hebrews 12:2 KJV).

Always be conscious of who is at work in you and focus on the leading of His Spirit in you, as He drops His inner counsel. That's where your strength lies. When we practise the awareness of His indwelling presence, we can confidently remain joyful in all circumstances because we carry His atmosphere everywhere we go and that is glory is motion. We can raise our heads above every challenge and worldly concerns because the greater One indwells us (1 John 4:4 NKJV). Praise God!

Guided Prayer: Lord God, I thank you so much for your extraordinary love for me. Thank you that I need no longer make sacrifices in order to make atonement for sin. I'm grateful that through the death and resurrection of Jesus, Satan has been permanently defeated, and you have raised me with Christ to reign with Him in the heavenly realms, far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every title that can be given, not only in the present age but also in the one to come. Therefore, I thank you for taking delight in me and crowning me with salvation and eternal life. Thank you for calling me to reign with you. Christ in me is my hope of Glory - therefore, I can never be disadvantaged because greater is He who is in me than the one in the world. Amen!
