Every Christian is called to know the heart of God and share it to the world. In other words, in response to knowing the heart of God, we are called to share the good news of God's unconditional love with the people of the world, who are living without Him. This means that nothing must hold us back from telling others about God's goodness, as we walk with Him.

Indeed, God has chosen to reveal Himself to the lost through us and He did that by empowering us with His Spirit to proclaim the glorious news of salvation that restores men's relationship with their Creator.

Reference: Mark 16:15 The PassionTranslation (TPT) 'And he said to them, "As you go into all the world, preach openly the wonderful news of the gospel to the entire human race!'

We were made in Christ to share God's heart to the entire human race. This is where the idea of evangelism comes in. Basically, to some people, going up to someone and interrupting their day to tell them about Jesus, no matter how good they feel, could to be a challenge. But coming across our referenced Scripture shows that we're commanded to do so or preach it, just like Paul said, 'For if I preach the gospel, that gives me no ground for boasting. For necessity is laid upon me. Woe to me if I do not preach the gospel! (1 Corinthians 9:16 ESV).

You can't read such Scriptures and still remain quiet about sharing the gospel. You can't read through the New Testament and discount the reality that the disciples gave themselves entirely - even to the point of death- that the world might come to know Jesus. Peter confirmed the reality of this Gospel saying, 'For we were not making up clever stories when we told you about the powerful coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. We saw his majestic splendor with our own eyes' (2 Peter 1:16 NLT).

Evangelism is not an optional activity; it is designated to be a part of our Christian walk. It's not only for the few or for pastors and evangelists. It's for all of us in Christ Jesus. So it tells us that the factors or challenges that cause us to hold back from actively engaging in evangelism are selfish. This is because, in doing so, we hold back the one and only hope for the world. It's like discovering the cure for a deadly disease and still withhold it from the world by refusing to share it.

The Jesus' warning was clearly straightforward in Mark 16:16 - that those who don't believe in him will be condemned. That means, they are bound to perish. So we must get over ourselves, our fears, our challenges and our ego, to share the most important message in the universe with others. This is because nothing is really more important than saving lives from condemnation or perpetual damnation.

As a Christian, you must derive joy and passion in allowing God to use you to minister His love to others, in many unique and powerful ways. By unique and wonderful ways, I mean, through diverse possible means. If you are not bold enough, you can start out by sharing Gospel tracts. Gospel tracts contain the Word of God, and they are like seeds when planted in people's lives. God can use a tract or a devotional guide to transform someone's life (consider Isaiah 55:10-11). In this regard, any Christian can overcome the fear of sharing their faith, using good Gospel tracts.

Another easy way to share the gospel is to invite someone to church with flyers that bear worship details. When the lost are invited to a Bible-believing and Spirit-led church, they are given the opportunity to hear the Word of God and give their lives to Christ. Another great means of sharing the good news and making sure it is spread in your world is by interceding for lost souls. Remember in Samuel's farewell address, He said, 'As for me, far be it from me that I should sin against the LORD by failing to pray for you. And I will teach you the way that is good and right (1 Samuel 12:23 NIV).

Scripture Reading - Proverbs 11:30; Ezekiel 3:18; Daniel 12:3; Matthew 28:19; Luke 15:10; 2 Corinthians 5:11.

Exuberant Declaration: I am made to share God's light in my world. I have been commissioned by my King to go out and reach out. Anytime I share the gospel, it is heard, read, and understood and God's goodness through our Lord Jesus Christ transforms men's lives and leads them to salvation. Praise God!
